I studied in the top film school in China: Beijing Film Academy. Through out my study there, I was surrounded by the best film makers and dreamers a round the world.

<The Only Universe For Us>

Styling Director

In this sci-fi themed short film, Jiangshu, the young scientist, travels through multiple universes in an attempt to find the lover he has long admired. As the costume director, I designed over 40 looks for the entire film, successfully portraying a renaissance of romantic love within a sci-fi universe.

Co-designed dedicated looks for the characters that combined elements of ethnic minorities and modern citizens so that the conflict in the plot not only focuses on personal growth, but also reflects the strong homesickness of the foreign population in Shenzhen.

<Blue Land>

Prop Master

For this short film with a sci-fi setting, the director wanted to present a sense of vibrant life in a technological setting. So my partner and I customised an acrylic fish tank and designed this butterfly fluttering eco-landscape, which was combined with the religious feeling of voodoo rituals.

Styling Director

This is a short film centered around homesickness and family affection. I’ve incorporated my own perspectives on East Asian families and death into the costumes of the mother and daughter in the movie.

Anniversary Report

In another project, I was asked to create a compilation video as an anniversary report for our educational programme. The volunteers wanted their respective teams to appear as a mark of participation, while the sponsoring companies and relevant government departments expected to see tangible programme outcomes.
